Prepare your images

Find out how to flag your images for publishing online. Images must be linked to Object records in Vernon CMS to be published to Vernon Browser.

Image size

Images must be at least 1200 pixels on the longest side (no more than 3000 pixels).

You can control which images from each record go online using the Publication Status field of the Photo/Audio-Visual record.

Images with Full Public Access are always exported.
Sometimes images are not suitable for publication (for example, due to copyright restrictions or image quality). You can flag them as No Public Access (never exported) or Restricted Public Access.
You can also decide how to treat images with a blank Publication Status field. You can choose to publish these images (only blocking images which are explicitly marked as No Public Access).

You can use the Authority Term Report/Replace tool on the Public Access Level authority file for a specific list of Photo/Audio-Visual records.
