Get ready to launch

Your organisation needs to set up a few technical things so we can launch your new Browser website. Your IT department can help you with these tasks.

Subdomain for your website

You need to register a subdomain for your website. For example, collection.yourmuseum.com.

Google Analytics keys

You need to set up a Google Analytics property for your subdomain. Then we can apply the Google Analytics code on your Browser website to measure its performance. We accept either Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Google Tag Manager (GTM) properties.

Parent website changes

You’ll need to prepare changes to your parent website. The main change is adding a link to your new Browser website.

Set up Web Messenger

Once your data is imported to Vernon Browser, you need to set up Web Messenger in Vernon CMS so that your records are kept updated. For more information, see Set up Web Messenger for Vernon Browser (Vernon CMS Help website).
